originally from london, i'm currently based in paris – but i often hop between the two. my path into design wasn’t linear: i have a background in film and experimental media, which got me hooked on visual storytelling and digital aesthetics. that curiosity eventually led me to product design, where i've brought structure and style to products in language tech, ai, web3 and beyond.
i’m most interested in building tools that support creativity and communication, especially through interface design. i care a lot about the balance between function and feeling; as a designer, I find this relationship especially compelling because emotion often defies logic.
outside of work i've been getting into audio reactive visuals with touch designer, and i’m also a creative writer. will (finally!) be launching a design-focused substack this year to share some related thoughts.
i care just as much about how something feels as how it works. good design isn’t just usable, it always has a specific vibe. sure, things should be clear, but they also need to have a bit of soul.
everything gets better through sketching, testing, breaking, tweaking, over and over. i trust the process because that's where the real design happens.
design should have a reason to exist. i try to reduce noise, i.e. no unwanted features for the sake of it. whether it’s solving a real problem or telling a story, the goal is always to make something that actually matters.
